When I started creating this piece I didn’t have a plan. I just had my palette knife (that I have never used before) in my hand and a couple of colors in mind. Somehow I felt that I have to listen to my instincts and simply go with the flow during this painting process. Trying something totally unknown can be frightening at times but if you don’t give it a chance you never know what could happen. Imagine your intuitions fluidly flowing, dancing together and merging in unexpected ways.

I love how textures and strokes dominate the narrative over literal representation. The dominant tones are rich shades of green, teal, and blue, creating a sense of depth and mystery. It gives me the feeling of staring into the ocean when it’s calm and surging at the same time.
Main colors blend harmoniously with streaks of white and subtle splashes of orange and yellow, providing moments of warmth and contrast. This contrast between cool and warm highlights suggests a balance between tranquility and vitality, evoking feelings of hope, renewal, or exploration.
